Youth Education in the Arts is a Youth Education in the Arts (YEA!) provides programs which allow thousands of talented performers to participate in pageantry events around the continent. Included are The Cadets , the Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps , and the US Scholastic Marching Band Association . YEA! affords young members the opportunity to participate in some of the most prestigious events in the world. Each year YEA! members participate in numerous high profile ceremonies celebrating sporting events and political inaugurations as well as movie premiers and television commercials. Recently, over 100 performers participated in the Closing Ceremonies of the 1996 Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta, while 1000 musicians performed in the Millennium Celebrations in New York City.
The United States Scholastic Band Association is the organization the promotes the marching competitions that the Rahway High School Marching Band Participates in throughout the Fall. Check out this site for important imformation, tickets, merchandise, and event schedules.
Band of America's mission is to create and provide positively life-changing experiences through music for students, teachers, parents, and communitites. Founded in 1975, Bands of America has been making a difference in the lives of young people for 30 years. Bands of America strives to provide QUALITY avenues for LEARNING and EXCELLENCE in music education for the nation's high school students and directors.
